Specialized Classroom Introd

Learning Environment and Facilities

The department is located on the 4th floor of Wenhui Building. This building features dual-sided lighting, balconies, and a central courtyard garden, ensuring good ventilation, lighting, and safety measures, creating a serene environment. In response to teaching needs, the department office provides students with access to computers, laptops, cameras, poster printers, photocopiers, and other teaching equipment, as well as consultation and borrowing services. The department is equipped with specialized classrooms, a children's literature theater, a calligraphy classroom, and other facilities.

(1) Specialized Classrooms:

The department has two specialized classrooms. One is located on the 3rd floor of Wenhui Building (J307). To meet the diverse teaching needs of professional courses, it is equipped with an electronic podium, projector, and other facilities to support both teaching and student learning.

The other classroom is a lecture hall located on the 2nd floor of Wenhui Building (J205). To accommodate a variety of course requirements, it is equipped with recording and broadcasting equipment for live streaming during class, as well as an electronic podium, projector, and other facilities for teaching and student use.

(2) Calligraphy Classroom, Calligraphy Preparation Room, and Lianjiang Art Gallery:

  1. Calligraphy Classroom (J401): Equipped with an electronic podium, projector, remote document camera, television, small blackboard, and easels for practice. This room is used for teaching, calligraphy club activities, and student practice after class.
  2. Small Calligraphy Classroom (J402): Equipped with computers, a projector, and several tables and chairs. Located next to the calligraphy classroom, it is typically used for student practice after class and occasionally for seminars.
  3. Lianjiang Art Gallery: Located outside the calligraphy classroom, this gallery is used to display students' calligraphy and seal art works, allowing both faculty and students to appreciate the aesthetics of calligraphy.

(3) Children's Literature Theater (J404):

This theater is equipped with an electronic podium, projector, network camera, high-quality sound system, lighting equipment, wooden flooring, and spotlights to create unique visual effects. The semi-circular stage provides space for students to perform or rehearse for drama performances and large-scale exhibitions.

(4) Conference Rooms (J411A, J411B):

There are two conference rooms, mainly used for graduate student classes, thesis defenses, study groups, and department meetings, both large and small.

(5) Graduate Student Research Rooms (JB107-6, JB107-8):

These rooms are furnished with desks and chairs for graduate students to conduct research and study.
